whats up, i have a 96 z28, my power window motor on the drivers side is stuck down and now its raining :banghead: , i know the motor is gone bad but i have to work all week and was wondering if anyone had any tips to manually getting the window up, i've read the forums for over an hour and most everyone else seems to have had their motor stuck up. I've take the door panel off and tried to pull it up i've tried to turn the main gear but the thing just wont budge at all, does anyone have any tips on getting this thing up untill i can fix it this weekend when i dont have to work?? and tips would help thanks, i

Is the motor working at all? When my window motor went bad I had to pull up on the glass and push the button at the same time, and it would budge a little bit. I had to repeat that process a few times to get it up all the way.

Remove the motor and leave it hanging in the door. Slide the glass up. Put the motor back on.

if you spend all of the time doing that you might as well just put the new motor in... ususally when the motor dies if you let it rest you can push the button and pull up and eventually you will get it
