locked out

I have a 2002 Grand Prix with a key less remote, the doors will lock by themselves and the interior light will come on at the same time. Does anyone have a schematic for the wiring for the locks, or have any suggestions.

The part that controls remote keyless entry (RKE) and interior illumination is the body control module (BCM). You can check the wiring and electrical connectors. It is located under the left hand side of the dash by the emergency brake. If it requires replacement it must be programmed by a GM dealer.

You were correct it was the bcm, I got one out of a 02 grand prix and didn't have to reprogram it.
