I am currently having a Magnus intake put onto my car. Ive heard that the intake takes up much of the space of the battery. Would I be better off relocating the battery to the trunk or just leaving it where it is and replacing it with a Braille battery. I kind of want to keep my red top if i can.

any suggestions?

Thanks
Ben

Battery relocation FTW. I would do it whether you have a magnus SMIM or are completely stock. Heat kills batteries and it gets hot as fuck under there. I think they make kits for it, but it can be as easy as attaching some nice, think amp power wires to each connector and running them back to the battery. I know that will be pretty much the first thing I will be doing this spring. I need to take off the dash to get out the heater core so I am just going to do it then while the engine bay is bare and the dash is out for ease of putting/finding a hole in the firewall to run the wires through.

I relocated my battey mid-summer. It's very easy. Took couple hours. All you need is a distribution block, 13 feet of 4gage power wire, 5 feet 4gage ground wire, 2 new batter terminals, some wire snippers, and electrical tape. The 2g rear hatch compartment on the passengers side all most seems as if it was made for a battery. Fit perfect.
