bad switch in power driver's seat

My wife had been complaining about her seat not being able to recline to a position where she was comfortable for a while. I assumed she just didn't know how to use the switches correctly. So she finally took it to the Kia dealer the other day and it turns out that the switch that controls the reclining functions for the seat went bad. The switch for sliding the seat forward and back is fine. They had to totally remove the seat from the vehicle to find this out. When they put it back in, they manually adjusted it where my wife wanted it. They had to order a new switch which they said would take a few days to get in. It's not that big of a deal since her Sorento is an '05 model and only has around 13K miles, so it's covered under warranty. I was just curious if anyone else has had this same issue before or something similar?

i have seen no power seat issues with the 05 except for the person that STUFFS their snow brush/umbrella/book bag etc under the seat and irritates the airbag connecters.
