swap 22re for a 22r

I have a 1985 toy pu and just gota 1990 pu, the 85 has the 22r and the 90 has the 22re. Can I swap engines and still use the fuel injection system and exhaust manifold that is in the 1990 22re on the 22r.

If you're wanting to put the '85 22R in the '90 and put the EFI stuff from the RE onto the R, the answer is yes.
But you'll also have to drill and tap the 22R block for the knock sensor.
