NEWBIE question

I have a 05 Taurus with the 3.0 in it. (I think it's the vulcan) What are the best mods to do to the Taurus. has anyone ever tinted the windows on one of these. I do my own window tint. What is the best oil/filter combo to run.

Yes and no :p I was about to tint mine but at the last minute decided to wait until spring so that it would come out better. From what I've researched it's a very straight forward (read 'easy') tinting job to do :)

This is easy :grinyes: K&H filter with either Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum. There is a rebate currently going on with the Platinum. Buy 5 qts. and get back $15.00! If you buy the Platinum at wally world all of it will only cost you only a few bucks when you factor in the rebate :grinyes: Mobil 1 has always been one of the better oils to use but the Platinum is better if you're in an area where it gets cold. You can't go wrong with either but for many reasons I personally feel that the Platinum has the edge. Enjoy :)

That I will do. I wanted to get exhaust also, but have noticed that aftermarket parts for the 05 are few and far between. will 04 parts fit it?

I was looking for some exhaust parts too but not much luck. The parts for the 04-06 should all be the same, but just in case keep your reciept :wink:

I'll keep looking and let you know if I find anything. I seem to find alot of universal stuff though. Do you happen to know the diameter of the taurus exhaust? I'm thinking it's 2 1/4" but not sure.
