code #35

i have a 94 suburban 2wd with the 5.7. recently it started idling bad but i kept driving for about two weeks and the check engine light came on. now it will cut off while idling. it runs fine then just breaks down then runs again. pulled code it was a code 35 > cant set idle. i installed new iac motor/valve and ran for a couple days,now back to the same thing. same code again! can some one help me out on what else this could be please!

Code 35 is a map sensor issue., not iac on my list. Check for proper vacuum to map sensor.

Looking at my factory manuals for my 90 K1500 Pickup is the diagnostic section for code 35:

High Idle - look for vacuum leaks (and check TBI gasket)
System Too Lean - Engine Speed up and down, disconnecting IAC does not help. Check for low fuel pressure.
System Too Rich - Idle speed will be too low. IAC counts will be above 80. Check for high fuel pressure, leaking or stuck injector. Silicone contaminated 02 voltage will be slow to respond.
Throttle Body - Remove IAC and inspect bore for foreign material.
If things improve by disconnecting IAC, recheck all connections and valve terminal resistance.
