well ill keep this short and sweet. i was doin about 50 this afternoon, when this red mid 90s lexus sc paces me....i know i dont have a chance but whatever its been a while. i nod and we count it down 1..2..3....he jumps ahead easily like 1 1/2 cars and keeps pulling..at about 80 i shut it down before i got into heavier traffic he had like...4 cars at least...on me. i think he had just an exhaust btw...eck i need a new car =/

why not boost the Tc? i heard big gains from the turbo kit that goes on it. one around my area dynoed 230fwhp and bare in mind they're semi-light vehicles. unsure on how well the tranny is though to the add'l power

theres the trd supercharger kit, and it wont void the warrenty....

nah boost it, theres more gain from them B-)

I heard those s/c kits for the T/c give terrible gains for the money.

i don't like s/c on 4 cylinders. go turbo.

well...that is an option..BUT...personally i dont even think its worth the money (s/c or turbo) i have an auto tranny...and investing in a 5spd AND boosting it wouldnt be very practical after all the $$$ is invested and second the car is going to my lil bro, so i can invest the $$$ in a car that is already a better perfomer stock.

my fault, i did mean turbo. i was thinkgin ahead of myself and meant turbo has a better and higher power potential over supercharge lol

both have their advantages and disavantages. just pick one lol. you say you have auto, forget it. thats the only reason i stopped my boosting plans. if i put about 230 to the wheels, then the trans would break on me. talk about wasted cash.

sorry everyone, I haven't visited the forum in a while. anyways...
I'm actually trading in the 05 auto tC for an 07 5spd RS3 tC. I really like the car, but I hate the transmission. I plan on buying the greddy turbo kit, along with all the other goodies. hopefully I'll be pushing 250whp (8psi)with it, which seems decent for a DD.
another problem with the tC is its soft suspension.... but I plan on working on that too. ie. springs, sways, struts, shocks, and an LSD

its a special edition tC, same motor and drivetrain though
