how do you like my edited picture of my 84 caprice classic.

before:

after:
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g103/GreyGoose006/My%20caprice/Capriceedit.jpg

what i did:
background => black and white
lowered about 2"
very slight body section
window tint
shaved door handles and side mirror
exhaust pipe relocation. (gone from pic)

posted this in the automotive art forum too, but since yall are caprice fans i figured you would like to see it too

Thats pretty cool. The first picture alone looks great because of the b&w background. Window tint is a nice touch, and I don't think I've ever seen shaved door handles on a Caprice... I like it. The only think I personally don't like too much is the lowering, but I know that thats just my opinion. Overall though thats really cool. Yah got a knack for photo editing!

i may have gone a little too far on the lowering, but thats how i like it.
i did the B&W first, then decided to stretch my legs a little.
the hardest thing was removing the mirror, and lining up the dropped body. otherwise it was pretty easy.

i removed the "accent" pieces on the sides, and chopped the top a little bit.

Ohh, ohh, replace the missing piece of the rear bumper filler.

yeah, i was thinking about that. problem is that there is a complex bend in there and if i just extended the color over it would look really fake.
it will need some shading i guess.

I actually think the cars look good lowered. I also think they look good raised. Mine was naturally lowered when I got it, to about the level you modified your picture to. Naturally, due to the fact the "drop" was due to severely worn springs.

Since I've replaced the springs, it sits at normal level.

I like the chopped top. Can you do it with a little more taken out of the rear?? I want to see one with a roof sloping to the rear.

i'll try... keep in mind i only got started a few days ago.
i can surely do one without a background. getting the background to line up is the hard part.
i'll work on it.
