Motor or Tranny help

Hey guys i am wonting to swap trannysor motors. Here is how it plays out, I have a 92 eclipse thats a 1.8 sohc five speed, an a laser that is a 2.0 dohcwith an auto tranny. I wont the laser cuz of the 2.0, but i wont to keep me eclipse cuz of the five speed. So i was wondering what would be easyer, switching the trannys or the motors? All in all i would like to have a finshed project with a car that has a 2.0 in it with a 5 speed tranny.

Sell both and buy one that has the motor and tranny you want....It is going to be way too much work to switch motors or trannys...I think you will save a lot of time and headache to just sell them both and find one that has what you want.

I agree. I used to want power out of my 1.8 talon but came to the conclusion that way too much time and money were involved in it. I kept it pretty much stock and use it for my daily driver that gets over 30 mpg on the highway and bought a gsx. Got all the supporting mods now and a new turbo is going in this spring. Always good to have a reliable car, that way u always have a ride to work and have a way to drive to the parts store when u need, and believe me since i got the gsx i drive to auto zone 3 times more than i used to.

So here are my questions to you Quicktunners...
Why the hell did you make two threads in two days on pretty much the same topic here? You only need to be making one thread to cover the same issue... Stop making duplicate threads. :nono:
I also see you have posted it for sale twice in the AF Cars/Parts for sale/exchange section... Why would you waste our time going through the process of explaining to you how to do these swaps and such if you are just gonna sell it as it is now?
You need to decide what the hell your actually doing with this car before making several threads that all go different ways for this car... Keep your swap questions to this thread from now on. I don't wanna see anymore threads about this... If you do make one more thread on doing this swap you will receive a temp ban. You have been warned.
