hey guys, i've been lookin around but i'm having some problems finding a certain silvia. I've seen many S-13 and S-14 aroudn but i've yet to find one like my mothers 240sx... I was wondering if you guys could help me find one because i've been wanting to make a replica of hers ever since i totaled it (dont worry, it's been completely fixed). The model will be the closet thing to a 240 that i'll ever touch again so...

Here are some reference shots of it, note that it isn't a fastback style, there is an actual trunk... and it's a 91 and a 5speed, like that matters:)

And here is a shot of the inside thought it means nothing to you, i felt like including it since it was the last picture i had:)

(only 55k on it! and it's 12 years old!)

if you can help that would rock!

I can't see your pictures, but I bet it's an S13 240SX coupe. There is no model kit, but you could make your own with the front clip of a 180SX kit and the rest of an S13 Silvia kit. You should be able to just cut off everything in front of the A-pillar on both cars and swap them. The other car you'll get from that swap is called a SilEighty. ;)

For example, you could use these two kits...

Rear end from:

One for popping out to the shop in then?

That should be a pretty straight forward conversion as the kits are very similar - like the real thing i guess.

Bingo!! BTW, the Tamiya Silvia K's doesn't offer much more detail than the Fujimi S13 kits.

Question, do any of you have a close up pic of the front of that 180sx? because i think it may have the two vents in the front center part of the bumper above the plate holder, if so, it's not the same bumper style as my mothers...

Thanks for the info though

Oh, yeah, it's a work and back car(only a mile drive)

There´s a `91-`96 180SX (the restyled one) that matches the front end yof your mom´s car , from Fujimi. For this it could be better to buy any Silvia K´s of that S13 generation (`88-`93) to make this hybrid. If you want also to get the original wheels there´s an old Nissan Cefiro Attesa Cruising of 1990 from Aoshima which have them.

So , at last you will do the contrary as the Japanese Sil-Eighty ,you´ll do a 100Via. :p :D

Just FYI, there are a few SilEighty kits already, you only have to do-it-yourself if you want a OneVia. ;)

Out of curiousity, how much would you pay for this car, the whole front end has been repainted (hood, fenders, rocker and door blended to match the rest of the paint) so it looks just like the rest of the car(IE:Brand new!). 55k on it, one or two minor dents (less then 1/4" in dia) a little mark on the spoiler and that's it.

Digi-speedo has been replaced, mint engine, 2.4L, and by mint i mean it looks like my friends new Sentra SeR Spec-V, but sideways... and it's a 5speed.

Just curious, you know:D
