Engine Dropping Off

Recently replaced a coil pack but this problem started about a week before I got it replaced. The car is a 99 Nissan Maxima with 142k miles on it. When I start it from a cold start the engine startes that drops to really low RMP and then pops back up. After that the car runs just fine and never does it on a warm engine. I can skip the whole process by pushing on the gas a little just after it turns over. I did get so low once that the engine died, but started right up after that without the problem. Just seam to be on cold starts. Granted it has been getting colder up here in Idaho. Currently temp is 22F.

Read links on this page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/21
Autozone reads the code for free (dont buy 'anythin'), as long term solution I'd try this http://www.scangauge.com/
