Ponitac Vibe AWD vs. Honda Civic V-Tec

This is plaugeing my mind people, anyone have stats or seen this pair race.

The 2003 Vibe GT runs 0-60 in 7.3 sec and the 1/4 in 15.7 The 2002 civic si runs 0-60 in 8 sec and the 1/4 in 16.2 The vibe should walk any civic.

not any civic. My car was tested at 15.7 as well in mags and whatnot. ive seen them run as low as 14.9 with just IHE and shortshifter. Not my own unfortunately but just the same...

maybe any new civic. i dunno those vibes are awesome. I didnt know they were AWD though. thats pretty sweet

I'm not too sure about that.....I remember the matrix posting those kind of numbers, but I don't think the SI posted times that slow. I think they were mid 7's for 0-60 and high 15's for the 1/4.

Long as nobody starts saying "with this mod or that mod" the Civic is going to have trouble staying with the Vibe.

If you talk mods, then add same level mods to the vibe, it still wins.

well the new civics are slow. the older EK models are decently fast. 0-60 in 7.2 seconds and the 1/4 in 15.4

One thing that is bothering me

if you were to take a Holden Commodore (Stock) and put it up against a Honda Civic/Integra Type-R (Stock), who do you think will come up on top in a straight out drag??????

Actually, I was kind of thinking one of those looks like a mini-aztek myself:silly2:

The vibe is not the best looking, but its much better then the aztek.
