2003 outlander

I have a 2003 outlander, has had a complete tune up at 60,000 miles and when I go up a hill it misses and jerks hard. Acts like it doesn't get gas but it only does this for a split second and then runs like new again. Anyone have any idea what this could be? The check engine light does not come on when this happens.

fuel pump fault perhaps?

i assume you don't get this problem when going downhill?
