Well, i recently turned down a 1995 eclipse GS-T with 7k put into the engine. THe car was shit.
I now found a 1995 GSR, for 10k. Has 90k miles on it though. The asking price is a little high, dealer said he knows it's high because of the demand of the car. Knows that 17 year old's like me want them, to slam to the ground and deck the motor's out. He's right, but hard to find GSR's are? No one in my school drives a GSR i can tell you that. I only know one person around my area that owns a GSR.
Car comes with warranty and all, it's black, black leather, no CD player, sun roof and all that good shit. Think it's a good buy?

well, 1st...jus depends on ur part of the country. i kno up here in washington i paid 8700, with all the mod's i have listed on it (an leather seats, system etc...), except the short throw. it has a lil over 104k miles, but still runs nice an hard. i wish there were only a few gsr's, but driving around i'll see atleast 3 or 4 a day. im' one of 2 gsr's, and we have a type r at school. pick up the gsr. i raced a gsx, an he didn't pull at all. my top of 2nd even pulled him a little. i think it had been beaten, cuz i expected to lose to a turbo eclipse. anyways, point of story: buy the integra. see if u can talk him down a bit, but i say take it. he is lying a lil tho, they aren't exactly "rare." more like a lil tough to find in good shape.

my friend bought a 95 integra LS with intake, 17" TSW rims, TOYO proxes, and an exhaust TIP (those shitty $25 shit you get at kragen and weld on... 5 inches long) with 140,100 miles for $7300. the car isnt in good condition... missing bolts all over, his center console isnt attached, it flops loose
i bought a 91 integra GS with intake, axle-back OBX exhaust, 15" GS-R wheels (those realllllllllllly rare 5 spoke alloy ones) and Z-rated tires, sony cd player, some 6x9 subs and a FLAWLESS interior (looks BRAND NEW, COMPLETELY PERFECT), 10 cd changer, with 136,800 miles for $3200 from a dealership WHEEE :D

I say go for it, baby your GS-R and he will return the favor by running smooth and clean for many more miles.

this guys a jackass
regarding the integra for 10 grand wait it out you can definatly find a better deal than that i bought my 96 with 75k for 8 grand and looked at another with a bunch of mods and lip kit for 9 grand it only had 72k miles on it. do not jump into the purchase that is not the greatest deal.

Screw the dealership. I bought my 98 LS stock in great condition, with bashed in windows all around, for only $3500. Then all I had to do was slap on some FAL windows and it was good as new. You can check out Auto Trader mags and get a good deal from some kid who might want a better car. Old guys are cool too, my cousin bought a 96 EX Accord for $4200. These old guys take real good care of their rides, it was factory clean and runs perfect. And like the other guy said...shop around! Even if you have to travel a good distance for that perfect car. Nothing sucks more than buying a GSR for 9k, then finding the same car for 4k. Good luck
