Painting a new car

I am thinking of buying my daughter a Cobalt. She really wants the Orange, but there isn't an Orange one anywhere near me. (2006). I can get an awesome deal on a white one. Would anyone consider having it painted? Or is that just crazy?

For a decent paint job it would probably be about the same as if you were to just buy an orange one. She'll probably change her mind anywayts once you buy it for her. I bet she will love the white.

dont you would majorly bring down the value of a car. Repainting a car the same color is a good thing, but changing the color makes the cars value drop drastically. Cause the paint will scratch and chip and the other color will show. Not to mention to get a car painted so it looks like an original color will cost you 5,000+ dollars.
