Ok,
So my step father-in-law changed my spark-plug cables on my '91 Civic. I am pretty sure he messed up the order :bloated: . I am stranded at work and the only store around here ran out of the Haynes civic manual.
Anyone know the order of the top of their head or knows a link where it can be found. I will never let him do work on my car again.
J
PS: Also has anyone ever heard of a busted distributor on '91 Civics. I can't believe that is the problem

i just fried my distrubutor. i called like two or three local places for a replacement part.
there are two diffrent distrubutors that will fit the d15 series engine, i didnt ask about the d16, im also assuming you got a stock engine ...
they didnt know the diffrence and i wasnt about to waste time, so i went to my local shop and had them order up the part. unfortunately those bastards didnt know what they ordered either, the only diffrence i saw in the two was the connector and thats how they ordered it.

Distributors tend to go on early honda motors. I have had one go on my b16a.
This should help with the plug wires:
The cylinder #s go as follows:
Dist. 4-3-2-1 timing belt

Something on my distro got fucked up a while ago which caused it to pour a shitload of fuel into the engine and clog the cat.
Oh well, I got a highflow cat out of the deal.

Guys, thanks for your help, my fater-in-law f...ed it up. I thought he knew what he was doing. Last night I went out and changed the cables and everything worked fine. Now of course he messed with the distributor, so the timing is a litle off, but that's fixable.
Thanks
J
