well about 3 weeks ago i put up a message about hearing a weird grinding noise comg from the front of my engine(where all the pullies are) and i thought it was the coupler making the noise ive come to the conclusion that its the water pump. after noticing a puddle of fluids under my car and my car heating up rather quickly...i think im safe to call it the pump...
anyways is it something i should do myself or have it professionaly done. ive done things like plugs and wires, valve cover gaskets and things along those lines think i should be able to handle this
also is there anything i should look out for. any gaskets to replace or seals to replace
thanks all

If you have done that type of work you can change the water pump. It is not hard to do just hard to get to. The biggest challenge is getting all the air out of the system after it has been changed. Can be a real pita. The best way if you have a radiator cap on the radiator is to leave the cap off and fill the radiator. Start the car and wait until the coolant drops and keep refilling until the level no longer drops. This will usually get the air out of the system.
