I've got a 93 4x4 and think the clutch may be slipping. I can only notice it in fourth gear though, when I accelerate it will tach up high and then go back down to normal. I tried to see if it would do it in second or third but didn't really notice it no matter how much I got on it.

Is this the original clutch? How many miles? I just did the one on my 93 with 125k. Noticed slipping in 3rd and 4th gear.

Clutch is most likely on its last legs. It will get worse.

It's at 170k . Getting worse so I'm having one put in this week.
