I have problem in that I am looking for the name for the stock rubber bumper (elastomer) that attaches to the frame above the rear drive axle that may come in contact with the axle with a large amount of shock. Both have fallen off my Cherokee and I would like to get replacement parts for it. Any suggestions on where I should get it from?

Bump stop is what I'm thinking. Stealership should have it, as should most automotive stores.

Yep, Bumpstops. Try Quadratec, 4WD Hardware, theres usually tons of them on Ebay. I'll have an extra set soon. When do you need them?

Hey Ray...I know you are doing a lift kit...just extend them using longer bolts and a spacer (1x2 tubing)....I got mine spaced down 'bout an inch and a half....
How's that lift going anyway?

I bought longer bumpstops.
I have all the pieces, I just need time to put it all together. Im going the cheap way. I bought used parts where I could. Ive got Rustys coils, extra 1/2" isolator, JKS discos, RE1600 trackbar, S10 leafs, MJ shackles, Someone gave me an RE H&T SYE, Im using an XJ CV front driveshaft in the rear. Ive got an XJ D44 sitting in the wings ready for the 4.10s when I get a chance to deal with that. I think Ive only got about $300 in the springs, discos, trackbar, extended bumpstops, SYE and DS.
Its just a matter of getting the time now.

yeah, I thought it was odd that both had fallen off. They have not completely fallen off but they are small nubs and probably 80% of the bump stop had fallen off. I found one of them wedged between the drive axle housing and the shock. The other must had fallen off sometime before. Maybe before I bought the Jeep.
Do you guys know which length I should buy? (74mm or 104mm) I'm going to be replacing my leafsprings soon to something a little more beefy so that I can utilize the Class 3 towing package.

Could someone let me know what size the OEM part is and what I would be interested in buying as a replacement. I'm looking at getting the Quadratec replacement leafspring but need to know what bumpstop to get as they both fell off (74mm or 104mm)?
Thanks
Thanks

The stock bump stop is 74mm. The 104 is for 2in lift.
