How good/expensive is this amp?

I have an older model PPI amp it's a PC 21400 amp, I couldn't find it on soundomain or any popular websites, I found some guy selling it for about 1,000...Is it worth that much?...and also how good is that amp?...my dad's friend gave it to him a couple of years ago, but when we installed it just smoke came out (and I think thats the reason why he gave it away), but putting that aside, I want to know this info to know if it's worth it to get it fixed or should i just throw it away?....help me out guys

just be aware that if you are planning to sell it it is worth as much as the buyer is willing to pay.
