that looks awesome!! the only thing i would suggest would be to rework the rims aliitle more and let the spokes drop down a bit more other than that great job!

The rims are deep offset. "DEEP DISH". At least that is what I was trying 2 pull off. I updated it again with some graphics.

Heres the animation. Its a little crappy. I didnt have the foresight to save ever few steps in order to make a good ani. When I finally settled on a bodykit I just ran with it. But here it is anyway. Oh and the Ref pic is in there too. And yes I totaly traced it. But the pics are so out of order.

good drawing. i liked the original rims better, but center the insides of them more. that's all you had to do.

the crappy one only took about 5 mins
you really have to do it over and over again just to get it right

Exactlly!! A few people see a good job(patting self on back) and think its a simple thing and want the magic secret. There is no quick magical secret. it takes a long ass time. But it is so fun and that is the secret.

Great job! It looks really good!!
The rims are an interesting issue here. Here's how I'd explain it:
In the first one, the rims are seen in an angle slightly above the usual car, so that you can see the dish. The car itself is a pure side drawing, that'swhy it appears strange. To be perspectively correct, the wheels should turn to ellipses (more wide than high) when they are shown from an elevated angle.
However I like the first rims better than the others. They lack of depth imo, the free space between the spokes looks to big. Exactly the problem you wanted to avoid with the first set of rims, I guess. I think it's the freedom of the artist to make it look good een if the perspective is not 100% correct then.

Nice pics, if you want to see mine which are very similar, and made in paint, go to the thread called Andrej Lukic Customs 1-7, and more will come.
