Looking for this artist

The song played during an ad for the show "Standoff" and I loved the way it sounded but can't seem to find the artist.

Here are some of the lyrics:

"there's a part of me that's dead and in the ground"

I did a google search for the lyrics, but I couldn't find anything. If anyone has any idea, please let me know. This is going to drive me nuts.

Seriously though I'm at a loss, mainly because I didn't see the show:shakehead

I know that it doesn't have the music that's on the ads, but if you go on Fox's website, you can look at the music that was on during the episodes...maybe it was also on one of them.

I looked on youtube to see if they had the commercial, but couldn't find it. The closest one cut off after .23 seconds.
