Do women really want lingerie for Christmas??? :screwy: Really because some of my friends are telling me no and some are yes? So wats the final answer????

Lingerie is a great gift for valentines day, along with a dozen roses and a nice dinner at a great restaurant. Christmas, I'd go with jewelry. Been married almost 3 years, together for 5, have not gone wrong with this approach yet, but this christmas is gonna cost me a small fortune, so be careful with that approach.

Burned out at 3 years eh? Its hard to stay creative with gifts. I'm worried that I'll end up running out of creative ides and just end up having to buy bigger and bigger diamonds to top myself

its something you buy together with your girlfriend. if you were a girl and you get it for christmas, all it means is that the person who gave it wants sex. as fun as it is, that's not exactly thoughtful. From what i've heard, its actually really uncomfortable, and really just for men's viewing pleasure.

I'd get lingerie and something else to go with it that's non-bedroom type stuff.

Call me selfish but when ever I get my girl lingerie it’s something "I" want to see her in. With that in mind, I wouldn’t get her lingerie for her birthday or Christmas. Valentines Day is the only exception.

lingerie can be a good gift if it's coming from the right person. if it's from someone you would not want to have sex with, hello awkward. if you've been together for 3 years now, it would seem appropriate to get that for her.i agree with vin and say the best idea is to get the gift card to victoria's secret and go together. i know i just spent over $150 there yesterday..goddamn i love that store. oh and from experience i know that most guys don't like standing around in a lingerie store, so try and be interested in what's going on and not look bored out of your mind. :) good luck with the shopping and i hope she likes what you decide to get!

The girls that work at the store are usually decent. Its fun going there and "imagining" what your girl would look like in some of that stuff.

first time i went into a lingerie store i was with a mate, and i was ever so slightly wrecked. some of the people in there really should've been somewhere else. i feel it's a bit harsh saying that, because people should live however they want. but damn, i hope they keep it behind locked doors. in dimly lit rooms. without windows.
