srt on my mind

hey srt folk, ive stumbled across an '04 with 3k miles for 18,900. I'm looking for a car since my eclipse has broken down for good, seemingly eating itself in a fit of DSM penis-envy. I know this is the year they recieved the LSD and the power boost to 230, so in the straight line area, the neon would be faster than my eclipse. What about handling though? If anyone has ever driven both a DSM and an srt-4, i would love to know the difference in cornering ability between the two. I'm interested in mildly modding the car in every area to create a balanced road racer for the weekends, but a comfortable daily driver during the week. I'm excited about this car, because where i live, the only "performance" cars that one can find in the pre-owned section of dealerships are 6 cylinder mustangs with super-combat-ultra-McNinja front bumpers and LED windsheild squirters.

Wow, what a deal that is...04 with only 3k:eek: I myself came from a 95 gst to an 2005 Srt-4. Handling was definitely better in my gst, but then again I had fully adjustables and all the bells and whistles. The stock srt suspension does need some work to make it "decent." With the srt, it's easy to make decent power but still keep it a DD, just so you know. I would definitely take up that deal if I were you...Any pics of this skittle?

it wasn't an online ad, so there aren't pics, but it's red, and completely stock except for some odd mesh material in the grill that would definitely be removed if I bought it. Thanks for the info, and im glad to know your'e from the DSM world also. The dealer is asking 18,900, which is a little higher than I'd like to, or can afford to, pay, but I'm in love with the car. I think I might go there tonight and try to talk it down to around 15-16k. If i can do that, I'm buying it.

I went for a 95 tsi awd to a 04 srt and I have to say its faster and it doesnt break down so that made me happy. I dont think the handling is bad but there is room for improvement
