1999 Sebring LXI engine noise when cold
scammy

Hi,
I have a problem when I start my 1999 Sebring LXI. The car runs just fine, but whenever I start the car in colder weather (50 degrees or below) I hear a buzzing/whine sound from the engine. When I put it in gear, the noise continues - especially in 1st and 2nd gears. I need to drive the car for about 3 to 5 miles before the noise stops. I don't have this problem in warmer weather.
What could be causing this? I had the transmission fluid changed last year but not at a Chrysler dealership. Could the fluid be causing the noise? Also, if the car sits idle for a while (more than 24 hours), the car isn't very quick to start.
