Does anyone happen to know what the size of the bearings are on a 87 caprice 4.3 looking for the sizes on the front and rear?

Why do you need to know the size?
For each front wheel bearing, you will require a Timken Set 3 + Set 6 (or equiv.) ...
The rear drum is integral to the axle housing - you can't replace it without disassembling the differential, or at least removing the diff cover and removing the axle shafts.

did not know about rear drums but i would like to know the size due to that i can get them cheaper through my job through a bearing warehouse, instead of going through an autoparts store since they r asking bout 30.00 +. can get them fo 3/4 of autoparts price.

The size is not the issue, it is the overall dimension and angle of the bearing and race, these bearings are not listed or measured by size the are several dimensions involved, you the number on the bearing to cross reference this. All this to save 25% and you still not really know what you need!

The rear drum is integral to the axle housing blah blah axle shafts.
Whoopsie, I meant "bearing" not "drum". I swear, sometimes I speak a whole different language. At least I knew what I meant! lol

exactly what was i thinking off. bearings go by the dimmensions of od and id cant seem to remember what the other one is known by. but by these dimmensions one gets a part number that the bearing of its dimmensions belongs too. sorry about the whole size thing

I already told you - cross-reference Timken SET3 and SET6. These are the bearings used on the front for ALL 1977-1996 B-cars.
