Heres an little update on my progress. Headlight lenses are not glued on yet, and the black taillight highlights are not painted on. I wait a bit longer for the paint to dry out then i can start putting on the decals. I also achieved a mirror finish on this car which I have never been able to do before.
NB. I need replacement windows after i stuffed up big time on them.

Good so far. What happened to the wing mirror to the left of the pic? Or is it supposed to be like that? Is this going to get the decals added or are u going for a street look??

I gonna put the decals on thats what I liked about this car. The mirror it was just held in with some Blu Tac stuff which u use for posters. I gotta respray the thing again after a problem with blackwashing.

What did you use and what happened, there may be a fix.:)

Tried doing a blackwash and went everywhere, i resolved it by sanding off most of the paint and can spray it again. no big hassle, only thing is that I might need to buy more TS-26. Its back to the stage where I sanded the first coat.

This technique works for me. I use TS paints all the time and I mix my washes from Tamiya's bottle acrylics. I don't fully polish the body until I have the washes done, that way I polish off any wash that is outside the lines. If you don't like the color of the wash, you can wash it all off with Windex or any ammonia based wondow cleaner. Check my posts of my Revell ITR and RX-7 Type RZ to see the results.
