1995 beretta heat/ defrost

The heat will not change from blowing in middle. it will not change to defrost or heat . I already changed the switch made no difference Please help

Check the vacuum supply line that comes from the engine to the HVAC unit. The mode actuators are vacuum operated, so if the vacuum hose is cracked or disconnected, it won't switch modes.
