Gizmo going offline.. for a little bit

Hi all, just thought I'd let everyone know I will be offline for a bit. I'm moving tomorrow and my internet is being disconnected until tuesday. Hopefully I will at least have the bed and computer (you know, the important stuff) set up by then.

I'm sorta back.. got everything moved and the old place cleaned. Now to unpack and get everything arranged. Got the internet hooked up this morning..
Someone please just shoot me if I talk about moving again.

I hear ya on the moving thing.
Sometimes it's good though - specially if it's a bigger place that you've been needing.

Actually its only a litte bit bigger but laid out differently. Things that are much better about this place are..
1. much better neighborhood - got to the point NOBODY spoke english in the old complex.
2. washer/dryer hookups - none in old apt.
3. central air instead of hot water baseboard heat and undersized wall unit a/c.
4. first floor instead of 2nd.
5. no highway to get to work - just have to drive all the way around cherry creek park.
Here is my adventure with moving..
Sunday was just horrible. Picked up the uhaul trailer (6x12 is same price as a truck but without paying for mileage) and when I got home ready to go found out my brother was called into work and I couldnt get ahold of the guy from work who said he would help. Sister and her hubby were in oklahoma so no help (I need to rent more freinds). So I worked on it by myself and stuffed that trailer as much as it would hold, probably about 80-90% of my apt. The poor rodeo was firmly planted on its rear bumpstops even after repacking to try and distribute the weight better. About 8pm my brother finally came to help with the couchs (one is a 6ft sleeper), antique china cabinet, and a few other things but otherwise it was all just me. Since then I've been moving smaller stuff in the rodeo and cleaning the old place. Finally finished getting all that done tonight.
I did manage to get rid of alot of junk when packing though so thats a good thing.
