Welcome to the fourm. If you are talking about the speed gov. then you will have to either get a programmer or have the ecu programmed.

my own favorite thing would be.......
make it a 383 stroker, beef up the indution and exhaust, buy an aftermarket system(engine control unit) that you can program with a PC(get help from a decent mechanic so you don't blow it up) so you can go as fast as the truck will take you....bigger higher flowing injectors, maybe a big A$$ 871 blower on it, and a 200 shot of spray.....ok, dream switch off(lack of funds at present)
