Q about the Testors 1/24 Metal-body ITR kit

Anybody have one of these yet? I'm really interested in the interior as a candidate for canibaliztion for my Mugen ITR project. The Fujimi interior bucket is crap, and it's even more crappity crap now that I've cut out a/the door panel You can see that the floor of the interior resides about 1/2 inch above the chassis plate. Good for smuggling, I guess.
So I saw the Testors ITR kit, which comes prepainted in some crazy scheme, but they have all the plastic parts packed in below, and I can't make anything out. Today I asked about it at Pegasus, and was told that it's the same as one of the preassembled cars I haven't seen ( ) but it's sorta toy-like. Well, I'm thinking toy-like would be better than crap (Fujimi!), and at least if some details are present, I can do something to make them look good...

Another question about ITRs also. Is there any kit out there at all, metal, plastic, pre-assembled cars that have the inside of the trunk?

The metal ITR is pretty sucky. Some of those models aren't 1/24th, they can be as small as 1/27th, thought the ITR I saw was closer to the "correct" scale-though they could have very easily borrowed Revell's to copy and it may be 1/25th. I haven't seen the interior up close. I know Revell's is 1/25th but it is still a far better candidate. It can't be that far off, even if you have to use a few strips of plastic shims. And diecast models are usually worse for having the floors up way higher on the chassis. If you're capable of opening doors and trunk lids, you should be fully capable of fudging the Revell ITR interior to work:D

Is your friend's kit pre-painted yellow, or a crazy white/blue/red/yellow scheme? I saw the crazy paint for ~$18. It the plain paint supposed to be cheaper?
So far I've found this:
http://www.diecastx.com/store/media/integrawhiteMM.gif
Looks decent... http://forums.off-topic.net/images/smilies/dunno.gif Something to work with, and something is better than nothing...
I should have pics of my Fujimi interior uploaded later when I get to my parents' house...
edit: Also, the one I saw was not in this package:

It was in the all-clear plastic "box."

Very impressive! I'm very eager to see how you'll fit the engine in there. I'm doing something very similar to the engine bay.
