Hi
CAN YOU HELP...
Can anyone advise the best way to remove the Philip head bolts that hold a beetles car door in place. I have tried a reversible electric drill but to know effect.

After all these years those bolts tend to get frozen in place.
Try a hammer-blow manual impact wrench. That should get them freed up.
An air operated impact would work, too, but they have a tendancy to strip the head.
If you don't have access to either of these, soak the area with a good penetrating fluid ("Break-Free" works good) Let it sit over night. Then put a heavy duty phillips head screwdriver firmly in the head and give it a good hard WHACK with a mallet. Sometimes that frees it up.
