Computer mic problem?

OK so I just bought a new computer, and I have a weird as problem I can't figure out?

The system is brand fukin new, I'll post my specs up in soon when I get off wow (rofl!)

This is what it's doing:

I open sound recorder, I hit record, when someone on ventrilo talks to me, or anyone that goes through my speakers, it records it WTF.

Because of this, when I try to talk and someone talks over me as such, its as if I have my speakers up too loud (I am wearing headphones) and gives the "feedback".

I have been fucking around for over 2 hours to fix it and can't figure it out?

I have tried muting the microphone, muting the sound mixer, fucking with settings, but WTF?!

Feedback is usually from the microphone being too close to the speakers, or the speakers being too loud.

The sound recorder recording anything that comes through your speakers sounds like the same problem.
