Greddy Oil Catch Can

I was talking to a guy at work the other day and he was talking to me about my turbo and how far along I am and blah blah blah, and he was going through the process with me, and when he got to the Oil part, I guess my mind just skipped over it, but he said something about Greddy making this type of adapter that takes your oil and runs it through your turbo and then you dump it in your oil pan... I searched Greddy Oil and came up with some things, and I found this thing Greddy makes called a catch can...

now there it sorta states what it's for, but could I use this for my turbo too?...b/c if so I so found one on ebay that this guy is selling b/c he sold his car and it's not opened and like super cheap. please let me know...

or if someone knows a cheaper way to do that..say so, please, lol.

Well first of all you do know you are suppossed to have an oil feed and return line going from your turbo to your oil pan. you have to get your oil pan tapped with a fitting for it.
The lines should come with the turbo kit. so I dont think you need to by this. If you dont have the feed and return lines the metal rod connecting the two fans in the turbo would get really really really hot in there and eventually blow up.

i actually have that problem...but you can get a catch can at Ace Hardware...does the same thing...mine keeps oil from seeping into the intercooler

Since you have the 2200 engine, you don't have to tap the pan. Remove your oil dipstick and make a return fitting on that sucker. :wink: As for the feed line, right below the intake manifold next to the oil filter towards the passenger side of the filter, there is a nut on the back of the block. Remove that nut and there is your tap for the feed. Its like GM almost made this engine for boost.. ha ha.

if that greddy system works through the pcv, you can make a catch can for about 30 bucks but idk how it would work with boost.
