Bought my first kit!

Well (thanks to Tazdev for coming shopping with me) I bought my first model kit on Saturday. My first project is the Tamiya Nissan Skyline R32 GTR (with full engine detail! :eek: ). I’ve chosen Blue Pearl as the body colour. Started working on putting together the engine yesterday and I’ve got to say that it’s damn fun! :D I can see me getting totally addicted to car modelling! :p Moondog's also working on a model as well, the Tamiya R33 GTR. Can’t wait to see what they both look like when finished. :D

Sweet- I've been working on my R32 this week- but the Revell glue cocked the engine up so I have put it away for about 2 months until my exams finish. I am thinking of buying another R32 kit and trying to use some of the bits as hop-up parts on some other models



Do you think Mini Cooper 1275 or Honda Jazz+ R32 rims would be a good combo???:D :devil:

You musnt be that good with Revell glue then, I never have any problems with mine......because they are metal tipped bottles......Revell glue works ALOT better then Humbrol

I hate all Tamiya paints and glues, the only Tamiya things I buy are Spray cans and very rarely a Tamiya model kit...

Also would like to build a Series I R33 25t and R34GT-t (yes, I know. Skylines again! :p ).

Also want to build an S15 Silvia, Supra, Kit from Knight Rider :p , and Eleanor from Gone in 60 seconds. :D Not sure what else yet, but I'm sure there will be plenty more. :D
