Headlight problem

The headlights of my 1993 940 does not work, and it is NOT the BULBS nor the switch!

With the 940's, I'm wondering if this happens a lot. I'm not sure if it is the wires either. Any insight?

Thanks in advance.

Well, if not the bulbs, switch, relay, fuses, whats left? How did you test the switch?
Do you have 12volts at the bulb?

That is exactly what my question is. I just took out the switch and used it for a different circuit, and the switch did work. I don't know what you mean by 12volts, but BOTH the headlights and taillights were replaced, and neither of the two pairs work.

someone told me about the ground wires being faulty, but I don't know what he means by that.

Get a voltmeter and check the wiring plug directly at the headlight and see if you have 12volts getting there. Are you saying the taillights don't work either?? Is your "bulb out" warning light illuminated??

Faulty wires means your wires were damaged and not in their proper place. Try to place then in their proper position, it may help.

Your problem with the headlights is most probably the large round green relay at back of fuse/relay box. Had the exact same problem a few weeks ago on a 940 1993 model. The relay is for the bulb out warning lamp. hope this helps
