Please tell me where to find the fuel filter on a 2004 Expy, Eddie Bauer, 5.4L, 2WD.
The dealership says its below the driver's seat. Looking from underneath, I see the fuel tank and there are two lines running toward the top of the engine from the fuel tank labeled "Fuel Lines". Looking under the hood, I can't see the lines nor can I see a fuel filter. The filter I got from O'Reilly's had two inlet fittings and one outlet fitting. Knowing O'Reilly's , this may not be the right filter. Any help and a PICTURE of the filter location would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch!!

fuel filter is located under fuel tank , inside of a cover on the tank itself. Cover comes off with just a screw driver and will give you clear access to filter . Sent picture from service manual , hope you get it
Insert a medium flat-blade screwdriver in the the fuel filter protective cover tabs, turn 45 degrees, and gently remove the cover from the tank.http://www.fordtechservice.dealerconnection.com/pubs/auxf/~WS-V-B/1913/A0045973.gif
Vehicles equipped with 4.6L and 5.4L (2V) engines
Disconnect the fittings.http://www.fordtechservice.dealerconnection.com/pubs/auxf/~WS-V-B/1883/A0045951.gif
