got walked on by an integra

so i was coming home from university, i get to a stop light, integra beside me, and neither of us rev or anything, we just go like you normally would. he starts going a lil faster, so i'm like "hell no" to my friend, i floor it, he floors it. we're neck and neck until we shift into third and he just goes and leaves me in the dust. he had an intake of some sort (could hear it) and maybe a few exhaust mods but you'd expect an integra, even stock, with a 180hp engine and a lighter body, to beat a bone stock, older accord, with not mods, 120 or 130 hp stock, and a friend in the car. fun times though, it was pretty funny for me an my friend, we both burst out laughing when he shot off.

racing is fun....i do that same thing to people and laugh at them as i leave them behind. One guy thought the turbo spool was a big intake.....:(

well i would have guessed turbo on this one but seeing as how it didn't seem very modified (both exterior and the exhaust wasn't all that loud, plus i didn't hear a BOV) and the fact that there are VERY FEW turbo cars around here, and even fewer turbo hondas, i'm guessing intake. plus he did leave me in the dust but i would expect a turbocharged integra to go faster than that, maybe my expectations are a little high though

as for the rarity of turbo cars around my university and my town, i think i've seen 3 aftermarket turbocharged cars. a honda civic, another car that i didn't get a good look at, and an audi something or other(i know the audis are turbo from factory but this one either had a larger turbo or he turned up the boost, you could hear the whistle pretty loudly).

Integra GSR comes with 175 whp to the flywheel, Type R comes with 190 to the Flywheel and the LS comes with about 142 to the flywheel. You probably raced an LS with a turbo at about 200-210 horsepower. The reason I think that is because a Type R or a GSR turbo would have walked you pretty good turboed. LSs are mean too, and if you do LS VTEC, it will be even more raw than in a TYPE R in my opinon, but if you only got a little beat, it was probably an LS with a turbo, and a small too probably.

Haha, I love it. That about sums up the Celica I'm building. It looks like it was chewed up and spit out, but the only view you'll have of it is the back :grinyes: .

Although my car isn't a total sleeper, it doesn't exactly attract attention. I love sneaking up on people and wasting them though. I beat a WS6 like that once...he never saw it coming.
