would anyone know why i can hear the rubbing noise even after i replaced my bearing. there is no noise when i am going straight or when the wheel is turning left, but when i am going around a corner turning the wheel to the right i can hear the rubbing noise? i replaced the left front wheel bearing and the noise didn go away. could it be something else? thanks for any help

Hub bearing noises can travel across the car and be hard to narrow down which side is making the noise. It could be the other hub that is the problem. On hub bearings, it is normally the unloaded bearing that makes noise. On your car, since it's noisier turning to the right, that would indicate a passenger's side bearing, not driver's side.

I've been stung before by the "sounds like the left side to me" statement.Yes it does happen, it is possible it is the other side.

i found my problem which was my left front tire. the tires were cheap and i switched them out then the noise went away. such a simple fix.
