Big plans tonight?

im sure most of you know that tonight is the biggest bar night of the year. everyyear, its like a highschool reunion at our local bars. everyone is home for the holiday, and wants to get drunk cause of the day off. im goin to a local bar in bristol and pressin my luck, anyone else plan on gettin tipsy?

I'm picking up a new car today so I am shot for cash :2cents: . Everyone here is heading out to the city for some clubbing. I'm just gonna hit up the bar down the block and relaxe with wifey.

I'm going for Chinese and then we'll see if the "bakery" is open...

2007 Accord V6 EX-L. I needed somthing reliable and safe. Doing alot of traving coming up due to us moving to NC. The old civic just wasnt reliable enough and the SRT-4 sucked ass.

Staying home. 9 month anniversary for me and Nicole.

NEXT year I will be out partying past midnight seeing as my 21st birthday lands on Thanksgiving.

Today, however, I'll probably not going out anywhere.

I'm goin to go spend the night with the grand folks and help em cook. Then tomorrow I plan on gaining about 25lbs.

Seeing as how I'm canadian, today means nothing to me, our thanksgiving is in october. but next year when i'm 19 ill probably just use it as an excuse to get drunk, not that i need one, engineers drink any day of the week, in fact thursdays are a big drinking day for engineers on my campus lol.

so tonight i won't be doing anything special, but friday i'm popin caps, then getting drunk, then getting drunk again. shrooms at about noon, drinks at about 5, 6 or 7 (not sure when), then a fund raising kegger that night, all the profits go towards buying sick kids who are stuck in hospitals for extended periods of time games and whatnot to pass the time.

Moms is making a pre-Thanksgiving dinner. This is a first. She doesn't usually cook, but she's got the kitchen movin and shakin downstairs. Then tomorrow I'll go to grandmas and get fatter.

Girl is sick. Just takin care of her. Besides, the weather in the north sucks major ass right now so, not much else to do but stay in.

well, my best girlfriend karoline is comin over, then were goin to the bar. Friday night lover falls on a wednesday this week i guess....... tomarrow i have 12 oclock dinner at the dad/stepmoms relatives place. church people freak me out........ damien, where up north are you, virginia? in in connecticut and im freezin my ballz off.....!!!!

I always go out on Wednesday nights for $1 drafts...so yeah, the usual. What I can't stand is half my drinking buddies are bailing out on the usual hangout and going downtown to blow 4x as much money chasing the supposed 'influx' of girls tonight. Idiots.

I dunno, something about this night always annoys me every year, it's kinda like highschool graduation night or something. Where everybody who didn't do a damn thing all year suddenly decides to get wasted just because of the date or something. That and the fact that you have to drive 10x as defensively because of the drunken idiots trying to drive home wasted. /end rant

Honestly, I never knew tonight was such a big bar or party night. This is the first I've ever heard of it. I guess it makes sense, but I never knew... :dunno:

All day our radio and tv stations have been making the point that this is the biggest night of the year for DWI arrests and that the local ploice agencies will be out with roadblocks and such checking for drunk drivers. The one thing from their reports that I didn't understand was the fact that today is supposed to be the biggest day of the year for going out and partying, and the second biggest day of the year right behind the day before Thanksgiving is the Fourth of July. Go figure... I thought it would be New Year's Eve. I know more people and hear of more party/celebration promotions for New Year's Eve than I do the 4th of July. :dunno:

I guess because the majority of the drinking on new years is done at night. 4th of July means BBQ which means drinking beer all day. So you end up being completely lit before 7pm... at least I know I do :icon16:

Can't go out drinking though, I drive trucks for a living and one DUI could mean my CDL license and my job. Have to get blitzed at home. :smokin:

yeah there was a roadblock before the bar that is like 2 miles away! luckily i have friends that warned me, so i took the back root! and im sure you guys know that everyone is home for the holidays from college, etc... and us working people get thursday off(usually) which leads to everyone lookin to party! i had a blast, had like 3 different girls message me on myspace. one girl said she wanted to talk to me, but the girl i was with(karoline) was pretty intimidating!lol then she wanted to hook up. what is it about girls wanting guys with girls? its like a game to them, the more unavailable u are, the more they want u??

yeah they're weird. i know this girl who usually doesn't do more than your average flirting and whatnot, but she really wanted this one guy (he's gay so that explains it) like she was giving him lapdances, shoving her chest in his face, all kinds of things. although it could just be that he was gay so she felt more comfortable and was just joking around.
