I have a 98 blazer 4wd and the ABS light is on. I recently had some front end work done then the light came on after that. I am sure all is ok now so is there some way to clear the light or reset it. I dont want the light to just turn off I want it reset. I tested the brakes and the ABS seems to work ok. Is there some way to pull the code from the ABS system. I went to autozone and they scanned it and there was no trouble code (service engine soon light is off). Tech could not reset because the ABS does not report to the OBD2 computer. I tried that technique to disconnect the battery then turn the ignition on for 10 minutes and it did not do anythinG. Anyone hAS ANY IDEAS.

They probably forgot to replug in the front wheel sensor.

Take it back and have them reconnect it.

The code scanners will not pick up codes from the ABS module.
Tech could not reset because the ABS does not report to the OBD2 computer.
All the modules on the vehicle communicate their status to each other thru the Class 2 communication line.
You need a bi-directional scanner to talk to all the modules.
It appears that who ever worked on your vehicle may have left something unplugged (WSS) and this is the reason that the ABS light is on. My first suggestion is to take it back and have them take a look.
