an itty bitty problem. rough driving and power locks

So. Today, something strange happened. It occured a few times before, but it stopped for the longest time. It just happened again not too long ago. I was driving, and as I was braking, the car seemed to idle a little more rough than normal. And when I was at a complete stop, the idle was up, down, up, down. It wouldnt stay steady. When I got to my destination, i turned off the car. I have those door locks that lock when you press the brake, and unlock when you turn off the car. Anyways. The doors unlocked, but they kept getting power. so you could hear the locks stuck on open, even though they already opened. It stayed like that for a few seconds, then stopped. Then when i pressed the button for the doors to lock nothing happened. I heard something clicking behind the glove box, everytime i would hit the button. But nothing happened. After about 10 seconds of not touching anything, i tried again and the doors finally locked.

Whats could be causing this mysterious problem? I am completely puzzled.

the power locks seem to be getting worse as it gets colder. They work great, up until i turn the car off. They dont unlock. You press the button, and all you hear is a relay or something clicking behind the glovebox. It takes about 15 seconds before the locks start working again. any ideas at all? =S

no luck here eh . check Jim Grant tips on ALLDATA.Com you may find something there or at j-body.org . I`d guess a relay but you don`t want to start replacing parts on a guess.
Good Luck sorry can`t help anymore.
