May be a simple question, I removed the four bolts from the belt pully, I am not able to remove the fan or clutch. Am I missing something, I tried to force it off a little but it does not move move much.
Thank you

Usually there's more bolts holding the fan itself on. Look at the front part of the fan, between the end of the shaft and the radiator.

The clutch is at the end with the fan bolted onto the back what I am trying to do is remove the whole assembly from the pulley that the serpentine belt runs on.

Is there a big nut in front of the pulley?
Some fan clutches are screwed onto the end of water pump.
If not the clutch fan should come off .
Some are tight.
Did the pulley bolts just go threw the pulley or did they also go threw the clutch fan end where it touches the pulley?

This clutch and fan is just attached to a pulley, the waterpump is lower and more toward the center, can't get to the end of the pulley at all. This is located below the AC compressor, I have never seen a set up like this before.

I looked at belt routing and I see what you are telling us.
The only thing I would suggest is tap on it or wiggle it some more.
Maybe squirt it with a little penetrating oil.
Grab the end of the fan blades and rock it back and forth.
Sorry but That is all I can think of.
Good Luck

I hate the 93 electronic service manual that I have...
This is from the 2000 MY manual...

Does it look like this?..:

The diagram you sent was similar but this is offset, I have the rad. out and can't seem to move it more than 1/16 , I guess I am going to take the AC compressor off and pull the whole unit. This is just something I have never run into before.
Thank you

Solution, a hammer bar and about 50 hits and it is off, looks so simple when its off.

Thanks for posting back how it went.
We are glad you got it off.
Must have been a extra tight one.
Some times a hammer or bigger hammer does work.:grinyes: :grinno:
Good Luck MT
