Keeps Killing Battery

1989 HONDA ACCORD LXI JUST GOT THE CAR FOR MY DAUGHTER AND IT KEEPS KILLING THE BATTERY.WHERE IS THE THE CONNECTOR FOR A CODE SCANNER.
I HAVE DONE WHAT THE BOOK SAYS BUT NOT SURE. THE COMPUTER HAS A LITES
ONE TIME ???

computer doesn't control or monitor battery or alternator, engine only.
most likely you have bad wiring connection some where or bad alternator.

Check the water in the battery!!! I kills'em every time!!!! lots of parts stores will run codes for free now.... The connection on mine is right under the steering wheel at the bottom of the leather on the dash!!! But as far as the battery it may just be bad or out of water/acid!!! :)

not on 89 LXi.
but you right about water/acid level. if level is too low (cells are exposed to air) you need to add distilated water.
