Hello, I had a Civic Si 99 EBP with white rims, unfortunately i crashed it at low speeds but it still was a writeoff.
I just bought another Civic Si Black color 99. The car has the following modifications: 17 inch rims, big aem rotors, tokico illuminas, and in the engine it has a VQ-5 Vortech supercharger kit with 6.6 psi of pressure, i have dc headers and exhaust along with a apexi vafc.
Here is the question, the car pulls strong, but not as strong as i think it should, it pulls well from 6 thousand to 8 thousand rpm but its not a huge thrust of power, maybe cause its only 6 psi. I want to add the aftercooler and put a 10psi pulley, will this make a big difference? The car has 50,000 miles. the engine will last very long even with the 10 psi pulley? What modifications do u guys suggest to feel more torque lower in the powerband and to have more power overall?
Thanks for the help.

10psi on that setup w/ an aftercooler (and professionally tuned i hope) will last for a while....that's only like 250whp so that would be very driveable and reliable. The only thing i stress a lot is tuning....make sure not to settle for something like the stock FMU....those are shit....get tuned on crome, hondata, or AEM....something good
I've been on 275whp+ for about 5 months and i had no problems...therefore i'm pushing my luck....:p

a kamikaze header with a 2.5 collector and 2.5 piping all the way back will set you up good.
