5-series serpentine belt replacment

I'm about to replace the serpentine belt on my daughter's 92 525i. Looks like the idler/tensioner may have a special set up or require special tools? Any tips or good sources of info? (Sorry if there's an earlier thread on this - thought I'd avoid some search time.)
