Unitronic TDi, Oh yeah

I just got my 2001 Jetta chipped with a Unitronic upgrade. Chipped is misleading since it's actually a reflash of the ECU, but whatever. I'm happy to report that the driveability is beyond my expectations. There is a smidge of lag, but once things get lively, you have to hold on. The torque kick is scintilating. I'm still on the first tank of gas, so I'll report back on mileage later, but the power is definitely worth it. I'm looking into other power upgrades now, like a VNT17 turbo with bigger injectors, has anyone here done this swap? Can the stock clutch and tranny hold the torque?
