I just wanted to point out that all of us 'NBS' guys are now officially driving 'OBS' trucks, unless you bought a new one within the past month.:frown: :frown: :banghead: :banghead:

Is OBS all-inclusive? Are they now OOBS? Maybe we could be NOBS? Some year should be designated as a Baseline for the system. Call it BOOBS.

I was actually thinking about that the other day. I think we will still be called the NBS, and the new trucks be the BNBS (Brand New Body Style). Stupid yes, but this stuff could get confusing. Really we should now use '99+ to rep ours (well my old one).

If not by 99+, we could go by BBS (Better Body Style). Don't get me wrong I like the older styles (88-98) and the newer style (03+), but I think the 99-02 styles look the best. I'm sure someone disagrees with me, but that's just my :2cents:

has anyone really gone online to try to build one of these "BNBS" trucks?i dont know if its my computer or chevy's website, but all i can seem to build is an extended cab shortbed.is this the only bodystyle offered?or will there be a reg cab available in the near future?i like the different dash and wheel opitons they offer and even tho i would never buy the dual exhaust offered as an option, i think its pretty cool that they offer it as kind of a dealer installed performance type option.but im really bothered that unless i get a W/T i gotta get this 4 door thing.im close to giving the "NBS" or "BNBS" a new, simplified designation: :bs:

I tink in the beginning (read: now) Chevy may only offer the extended cab, as it is their most popular configuration. Other, less popular styles will probably come soon.

there's old body style, like the one in blenders sig, then there is "classic"(pissed off owl looking front end), and then the "new body style".
@no rice: i know they make them in more then just that 4 door crappy ass style(hate them too). they have extended cabs for sure. not sure about regular cabs, but it would not make sense to not have one. i know the "classic" for 07 has regular cab. cool thing about the new body style extended cabs....the rear windows are no longer those leaking lever-winged thingys.....they have actual power windows back there that go up and down now!

I was at the dealership here the other day and they do come in regular, ext and quad cab configurations with all 3 box options, a 5'9", 6'6" and a 8' box.
I still prefer the look of the Sierra's, but I'm starting to like the new Chevy designs.

the extended cab just went into full production on nov. 20 and the regular cab goes into full production on dec. 4.
