What FPR to go with?

I think I may ask Santa for a FPR. I want something easy to work with that will bolt right on. The aero one's seem like everyone's suggestions but they can get expensve after buying the adapter and gauge. I was thinking of something like the Weapon R's that they sell on dsmparts.com. They are around $110 and a I can pick up a cheap gauge for it. Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated, thanks guys/girls!
ps/ I failed emissions in Jersey yesterday. My CO reading was a 6.3 and I was told is should be around a 5.0 range. The kid said it was very close and that most cars are either on or way off the 5.0 mark.

If you dont want to cough up for an aeromotive one, I think you are sort of taking a chance the product is a POS. Think about it, if it doesnt work right you will need to buy anther one and if that thing fails or is faulty, fuel could could get out causing a fire. The aeromotive FPR + install kit and guage on SBR is $225 which isnt bad IMO.
That said, I know that I am a cheap ass and I know other people are as well and I will not be spending the green on an aeromotive. I am going to get the megan (http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=5030&) one. Its only $70 and has the regulator, install kit, and guage. I know, I know, it might be a POS, but shit, if it is I can just use the install kit and guage and get an aeromotive one.

In my own personal opinion Megan sucks. I wouldn't trust them with my fuel. I've had their downpipe & shifter and both suck horrably.
The aeromotive 13109 from http://www.importevolution.com with the SS fuel line kit is only $205. They have an SS filter to rail kit thats nice too if you are going to do it all at once. The SS kit is more expensive, not really needed, but looks 10x better under the hood. I have them both, get product.
Edit: Can't seem to find their 2g fpr kit on their website anymore. It's alot cheaper to buy the lines, fittings, regulator sepretly. You have to assmeble the lines anyway, shops normaly don't ship the lines pre-made. They just cut to lenght and throw the fittings in..

Yeah I had ordered the Megan Racing one until I saw Mark from Slowboy say he would never use one on his ride. This while they were selling them!
I went with the Import Evolution (http://www.importevolution.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_45&products_id=1433) on the Eagle.

Thanks all 3 of you guys. I am going to look around online a bit more before I decide. I think the import evolution one looks decent. Not as pricey as the aero and not as cheap looking as the megan one.
Anyone else have any opinions or experiences?

How long have you had it on there? Any problems or complaints?

I heard that only about the 1g automatic fpr's. I am not sure on it though. Says something about the automatic cars fpr flow different or something along those lines on plymouthlaser.com.

I bought one of those weapon r version 2 or some crap like that off of dsmparts.com a while ago. I HIGHLY suggest not buying it. The adapater that goes into the fuel rail DID NOT fit and I had to sand it down to fit. Two of the brass nipples that screw into the regulator had no teflon tape on them and they sprayed gas like crazy after I installed it and ran the motor. I called weapon r and talked to the guy who actually makes them/owns the business. He told me it rarely happens and I can send it back and they will replace it for free. He gave me an attitude so I fixed it myself and told him to fuck off. I personally will never buy from Weapon R again in my life if I can help it. :2cents: *Deep breaths... Deep breaths...*

I have the Aeromotive kit from SBR with the install kit.
I wouldn't even think about putting anything else on my car. The install was smooth and adjustment was super easy.

I have a B&M one and gauge that bolts onto the end of the fuel rail. But now I am swapping it out for an Aeromotive one while I'm doing everything else... If your interested and want the B&M one and gauge for cheap just lemme know.

I guess I am the only one thats had good luck with SBR. My hg was here within a week and my valves got here after 3 days. Also, my buddies tensioner was less than a week.

Ha ha. Yeah, I learned the SBR lesson from my buddy Matt. They were horrible on the shipping of almost all of the many thousands of dollars in shit he bought from them. I like extremepsi, they are almost always cheaper.

It looks real good. I am deciding between that and the aero one. I got time still to decide, Santa isnt coming til over a month now. But if I order from slowboy now, it still might not make it under my tree in time. Ill make up my mind soon.

I've never heard of a kevlar belt snapping, but I have never heard of a OEM being a bad product as long as there are no oil/tensioner problems. OEM belts are fine from 99% of people. Anything over 600hp I would "consider" going to kevlar, but wouldn't bother untill then..
Most people have T-belt issues because of neglect, stretching, or old tensioners, oil damage, pullies, exc. It's very seldomely just the T-belt that makes it skip theeth..

About the SBR thing... I just got my shipment of valves, springs, guides, retainers, and a bunch of other stuff for my head build from SBR the other day. Took only 3 days to ship and everything is perfect. I have yet to have problems with SBR. However I have had problems twice with dsmparts.com
